IMPULSCE is a fully youth-led, weekend-long, camp-style prevention retreat designed to train, educate, and inspire the next generation of student leaders. Rooted in the power of connection and purpose, the retreat merges evidence-based prevention education with wellness, creativity, and community service all while reframing what it means to live a meaningful, drug-free life.

At a time when young adults are facing record levels of loneliness, anxiety, and disconnection-- major risk factors of substance misuse-- IMPULSCE provides a space to pause, connect, and grow. The retreat empowers students to:

• Build authentic peer connections and support networks

• Learn tangible prevention and wellness skills

• Reframe what it means to be “impulsive” — channeling that energy toward positive, life-changing action

• Meaningful PULSCE-related competitions to inspire creativity and innovation

• Train attendees in Narcan and QPR

• Return to their campuses as trained, inspired peer educators and change-makers

• Ending with a substance misuse pledge to take care of yourself as well as others
